Post Six: WTF Hall Automotive Corporate Offices and WOO! Sims 3!

Today is payday for both Dave and myself.  However, Hall Corporate neglected to tell him - - "Hey, you know all those sales you made while you were at the Credit Sale two weeks ago?  Wellllll.... we may have neglected to mention this to you... but ya see, because of the low credit of the buyers, it takes a longer time for the deal to be bought out... so that $2500 paycheck you were expecting?  Well, here's $700.  Sorry, we'll catch you on your next check.  In two weeks."  But rent is due.  And cable.  And sewer.  And a car payment.  And electric.  But they don't care - sorry!  You'll just have to put it off.

You want to call our landlord?  Or Priority Chevy?  Or the City of Norfolk?  Or Verizon?  No?  Well, eff you, you effing jerks.

Ugh.  And we have a trip to New York in exactly three weeks for the wedding of a friend.  A wedding Dave is in.  A wedding we will have to miss WORK for, and pay for travel, Dave's suit, the hotel, and a wedding gift.  Oh, and food.  AND board the girls!  Ughhhhhhhhhhhh....... Why, again, am I an adult?

Not to mention that while I DO get my paycheck today, I had to spend an hour this morning in close proximity to my boss.  I woke up twenty minutes before I had to be at work.  I simply threw something on and ran out the door.  My hair is a hazard, I smell like a liquor store, and I feel nasty... and today is the day he decided to FINALLY install my BRAND NEW iMAC!  Yum.  But oy!  Why today of all days, when I don't exactly present the perfect image of a great employee?

Oooh.  The Sims 3 is finishing updating on the new computer.  If I disappear for three days straight, look for the crazy girl STILL playing the Sims.
